For the purpose of a divorce, securities are fungible and tradable financial instruments.
Securities can fall into three general categories debt securities, equity securities and hybrid securities.
These securities can be held in a brokerage account, in a safe in the form of stock certificate, bond certificate, and or a option contracts.
